Żurrieq Wolves HS Annual BBQ & Presentation Night 2026
On Saturday, 5th September 2026, Żurrieq Wolves HS brought together players, members, families, supporters and friends for our Annual BBQ & Presentation Night, an evening dedicated to celebrating another memorable season and recognising the people who continue to make our club what it is.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity for the entire Wolves family to come together away from the pitch, enjoy each other’s company and reflect on the achievements, commitment and progress made throughout the season.
A special part of the evening was our annual awards presentation, where players and members were recognised for their performances, improvement, dedication and contribution to the club.
2026 Awards
Our Under-12 team received recognition for finishing in Second place.
At Senior level, the following awards were presented:
7-a-Side Top Scorer: Jayden Cutajar
Senior League Top Scorer: Christ Agius
Most Dedicated Player: Aaron Spiteri
Most Improved Player: Kieran Borg
7-a-Side Player of the Year: Stefano Schembri
Senior Player of the Year: Alessandro Amore
The evening also recognised important contributions made to the club beyond individual performances on the pitch.
The entire squad that represented Żurrieq Wolves HS at EuroHockey in Poland received a special Recognition Award for their excellent performance and for proudly representing our club on the European stage, with each player being presented with a special commemorative Tile featuring a team photo from the tournament.
