Hotsticks win the National League with victory against Young Stars

Hotsticks were crowned National League champions after a 3-1 win against Floriana Young Stars.

Christ Agius scored twice from two short corners before Silas Plaehn made it three going into the final quarter. Young Stars pulled one back from the final short corner of the match.

The result sees Hotsticks reclaim the National League title from Qormi Hockey Club.

Two dominant wins over Qormi and solid performances against Young Stars and White Hart throughout the season have ensured that Hotsticks have claimed the title with a game to spare.
